The Beginning: Finding My Color Voice

In the early days, I was unsure. I painted randomly — reds, blues, blacks, gold. But I slowly started noticing how my mood would choose the shade. On heavy days, I’d reach for deep blues or dark maroons. On joyful mornings, yellows and coral oranges spilled from my brush effortlessly. The canvas became a mirror of my soul.

Color as Emotion

Red is passion, but also pain. Blue is depth, sadness, yet infinite calm. Green is growth, but also longing. Pink feels like nostalgia, a tender memory of something warm and beautiful. I’ve cried through colors. I’ve celebrated through colors. I’ve let go through colors.

My Favorite Palettes

Soft pastels soothe me. Earth tones ground me. Jewel tones empower me. When I prepare my color palette, I’m not just mixing shades — I’m mixing emotions, memories, and intentions.

Art as a Daily Ritual

Painting has become my emotional ritual. Even when I don’t know what I’m feeling, I let my hand move, let the colors come. Often, they show me what’s buried inside. Art has taught me to listen more deeply — not just to myself, but to the emotions of others.
